I don’t think it’s any secret — I like to look good; but I like to look good at an achievable price. I’m not the blogger with brand-named ish plastered all over the place; and I don’t get diamond facials at the spa every week. I work for a living, I’m not a celebrity, and let’s just be real…the majority of us can’t afford that stuff anyway.

I also don’t have two hours to spare JUST to put makeup on. Like, what? Why? That is not necessary.

So0o0o, raise your hand if the drug-store bug gets you every. single. time. (SO GUILTY.) I walked out of Walgreens last month with $50 worth of crap I couldn’t wait to get home and try.

You know that exciting feeling you get taking all your new unnecessary girly makeup shit out of the package? Ugh. It’s just so fun. But, why? Why does that have to be fun? Why can’t eating kale be that fun?

I’ll tell you what’s really fun, though — When you find drugstore beauty products that blow your freaking mind… YAAASSSS.

Five Minute Face | Fit is Chic

Little did I know, I walked out of Walgreens with two of the best products to ever grace my little makeup drawer.

Five Minute Face | Fit is Chic

L’Oreal’s Magic Lumi Primer is/was my favorite summer beauty product. It’s light and smooth, with a serious brightening effect. It takes the attention away from those pesky sun spots, and leaves you looking extra dewy. However, if you’re more of a matte girl, this product is probably not going to be for you.

BB creams have never really been my friend; they usually leave me feeling dry and splotchy. But L’Oreal’s BB Cream has done me proud, my friends. It goes on white, and then changes to match the exact color of your skin. It’s a little runny, but a little goes a LONG way. If you like sheer (but good) coverage, you will love this stuff.

On the days I actually wear makeup, five minutes is about all the time I have to put my “face” on. And today I’m sharing just how fast, and easy, my Five-Minute Face is…

Five-Minute Face:

Step 1: Apply L’Oreal Lumi Primer

Step 2: Blend in L’Oreal BB Cream

Step 3: A hint of concealer (if needed)

Step 4: Sweep on favorite blush. (Love Origins!)

Step 5: Coat lashes with mascara. (My favorite is MAC.)

Step 6: Dap some Rose Salve on lips

Simple as that, girlfriends.

I hope you all have a wonderful week! Xo
