So before I delve into my new nightly routine, I’m just gonna go ahead and tell y’all about my new morning routine, as of late. I always forget how amazing the morning weather is in April and May. It’s cool enough to make your morning coffee taste THAT much better, and just warm enough to enjoy sitting (ahem, working) outside. #enjoythelittlethings right? <3

Mmmk, enough about that. Let’s get to the good stuff.

My Fountain of Youth

As you all know (if you read this blog religiously), I’ve been loyal to my Origins skincare routine for a little over a year now. And don’t get me wrong, I still LOVE Origins. But, I’m not kidding you when I say I’ve found my Fountain of Youth.

After receiving samples of this stuff from Sephora, it was game over, sister. HOOKED. I got a sample of the serum, eye masks, and eye cream first. Then loved it all so much, I bought the night cream.

So far, these are the only Shiseido products I’ve tried. But I have a feeling I’ll be working my way through the line in a hurry.

Ok, so here’s the order in which I use these products…

1. Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask – I use these two to three times a week for about 30 minutes. It says to leave them on for 15 minutes, but IMO 30 minutes is perfect. It gives my skin enough time to really soak all the moisture in. I like to use these at night right before I go to sleep, or even after my shower before an event. The first time I used these eye masks, I about died, y’all. The results were/are DRAMATIC. If you don’t have any fine lines under your eyes, you’ll notice your under-eye area to be waayyyyyy brighter. But if you do have a few fine lines, they will literally almost completely disappear. If I could afford it, I’d use these babies every single day. But really, two to three times a week is sufficient. TRY THEM. TRUST ME!

Fit is Chic Skin Care | Mattie Steger | Shiseido2. Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate – This stuff is the ULTIMATE serum, I kid you not. My face has never ever ever been so soft. I love the smell, and I love the way it makes my skin feel. If you have another serum you adore, you can use this Shiseido serum first, then layer your go-to on top.

3. Benefiance WrinkleResist 24 Intensive Eye Cream – This is by far the very best eye cream I’ve ever used. As soon as I put it on I can feel it working. My eyes just feel less puffy, they feel brighter, AND they feel tighter. And I love the way my makeup goes on over it. (I still use my Clinique SPF eye cream on top of this if I’m going to be out in the sun.) It’s not too thick, but it’s actually really moisturizing (unlike most other eye creams).

4. Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Night Cream – Like I said before, I loved the eye cream so much I decided to buy the night cream. And I’m SO glad I did. So far, I’m loving it! The smell is insanely relaxing (a hint of rose); and it’s perfectly moisturizing. As for the wrinkle reducing part — I can’t quite comment on that yet. It usually takes about six weeks to see a big difference. But for now, the morning glow is enough to keep me intrigued.

As always, I’ll keep you posted on the long-term results. And I’ll update the blog with further reviews when I try more Shiseido products.

Have you tried any of these products? Any products you’d recommend? Fill me in!

Stay fit (& beautiful), friends. Xo
